Train Travelers Package

Until October 28, 2012, Amtrak is offering a 20% discount to travel on the Ethan Allen passenger train from Penn Station NY to Castleton Vermont train depot. We will pick you up and drop you off! It’s less than five minutes away. A rental car can be delivered to Applewood Manor B&B for you, or you can hook up with Kelly at Vermont Backroad Tours to explore the sites and scenery of Central Vermont. Experience the road less traveled without having to navigate and drive! Winter Ice-Fishing Package

Our area has lovely lakes, and one of the favorite winter pastimes is ice-fishing. We will organize an experienced guide so you will have a memorable day. If you like to fish but haven’t tried ice-fishing, it’s a lot of fun. Remember to bring your thick-soled winter boots!
